I make both baroque inspired and modern bows.  My baroque models are conserved in museums and private collections.

While I try to be faithful to my model, I place an even greater emphasis on a bow’s playability.

My modern bows are influenced primarily by French Makers of the first half of the 19th Century.  In particular I have been creating bows influenced by Tourte.

  • Violin Bows: M. Laine gold, E. Sartory c. 1910 & 1920, J. Poirson, W.E. Hill & Sons gold, C. Bazin, V. Fetique gold, Thomassin, Maire, Peccatte
